Ric Flair Slams Jim Ross as Attention-Seeker Over Restaurant Exposure Allegation

Ric Flair is firing back after a resurfaced story from Jim Ross added more fuel to his already controversial legacy.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter following coverage from Ringside News to lash out at JR, writing what many are interpreting as a direct shot at the wrestling legend.

ā€œJim Ross Will Always Be Jim Ross, Seeking Attention. Focus On Your Recovery @JRsBBQ!ā€

The comment was posted shortly after Ringside News reported on a podcast appearance by Ross, where he told a disturbing story involving Flair allegedly exposing himself at a birthday dinner for a wrestling executive’s wife.

Ross shared the tale on Podcast Heat Wrestling, recalling how Flair walked into the bathroom during the dinner and came out wearing only socks, shoes, and a robe—with no underwear—and began strutting around with an erection in front of the guests.

ā€œHe goes to the bathroom like anybody else would—or maybe drinking, too. He throws down the drink. He comes back out. He’s got a thrasher towel. Yeah. He’s got his knee-high socks, his alligator shoes, and a boner—and no underwear. And he’s strutting around, flashing with his robe, of course. Uh, here his wife had never encountered, but frankly nobody had encountered anything quite like this.ā€

The story added tension to an already uncomfortable narrative surrounding Flair, who earlier in the day posted a meme-style PSA called ā€œThe WOOOOO Compromiseā€ with the tagline ā€œConsent Is Everything! WOOOOO!ā€ The mock contract jokingly referenced his ā€œSpace Mountainā€ gimmick and laid out terms for mutual consent in sexual encounters.

ā€œBy Signing This Compromise, both parties involved agree to ride Space Mountain and engage in sexual relations on this night. This contract adheres to guidelines of informed consent, and both people in the relationship must be present and not in an intoxicated state before signing. No party should be pressured or persuaded into something that they do not want to do, and they reserve the right to terminate the contract if need be. This contract has the signed and sealed approval of The Nature Boy Ric Flair, who has taken many women for a ride on Space Mountain, and has the utmost respect for women.ā€

Coming from Flair, the timing of the post raised eyebrows. It landed just as fans were revisiting past accusations, including the infamous ā€œPlane Ride from Hellā€ incident in which Flair was accused of exposing himself to a flight attendant and trying to force her hand on his genitals. That episode resulted in Flair being removed from WWE’s intro package and essentially blacklisted for a period.

Despite these past issues, Flair’s latest tweet suggests he’s more focused on clapping back than addressing the story’s contents. Whether it’s denial, deflection, or damage control, it’s clear the Nature Boy isn’t staying silent.
