Itâs Money In The Bank season, and the wrestling world is speculating on who the Menâs and Womenâs Money In The Bank Winners will be. Even AEW star Jeff Jarrett is not immune to the hype. On a recent episode of âMy World,â Jarrett started speculating about the entire Money In The Bank weekend, including the Worlds Collide show that will take place that afternoon. The WWE Hall of Famer started with the marquee tag match between John Cena, Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes, and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.
â[Logan Paulâs] influence is massiveâŠJohn Cena, the MVP of the industry for the last 20 yearsâŠCody [has] ascended like a rocketship. Out of the four, who stands to benefit the most? Jey,â Jarrett said. âI think, by far. Cody got beat at ManiaâŠYou can just see people clamoring [for Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena]. Logan Paul, the bloomâs off. Heâs part of the rosterâŠbut having him involved with CenaâŠwhen you kinda look at this in my mindâŠJeyâs gonna make a big ass comeback and I would assume Jeyâs going over Cena.â
Jey isnât the only star that Jarrett thinks will break through to the next level, as heâs also predicting big things for Worlds Collide.
âDonât you believe Chad [Gable is] going over [AAA Mega Champion Vikingo]?â Jarrett asked his co-host, who wondered if the result would pass muster with AAA fans in Mexico, especially so soon after the WWE/AAA purchase.
âThe AAA of years past is gone. It no longer exists,â Jarrett explained, noting what a different culture Mexico is. The AEW star also noted that heâs not entirely concerned with whether or not AAA fans resonate with Gable, as AEW is currently working with AAAâs competitor, CMLL. âTheyâre not worried about the existing AAA fanbaseâŠOnly time will tell if thatâs a mistake or notâŠThe CMLL opportunity is massive right now.â

Chad Gable isnât the only new champion that Gable thinks will be crowned on June 7. He also thinks that inaugural WWE Womenâs Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyriaâs luck will finally run out.
âBeckyâs getting her hand raised, period. Sheâs not putting the girl over this early in her turn,â Jarrett said. Jarrett and his co-host then turned their attention to the Womenâs Money In The Bank match, which Jarrett thinks will be an opportunity to reestablish a long-absent womenâs division star, but is the first to admit he doesnât have the most informed opinion.
âI donât have a clue who really would need itâŠso Iâm gonna go with Alexa [Bliss] but again, thatâs a total guess,â Jarrett said. As for the menâs match, Jarrett made a bold guess, âPentaâŠThereâs so many different ways to go in a match like this, but I can just see Penta [winning].â
Since Jarrett recorded the episode, El Grande Americano, the lucha libre persona of Chad Gable, gained entry to the match, defeating AJ Styles and CM Punk to qualify.
