It has been a wild week in WWE, and it’s all thanks to the drama surrounding R-Truth. First, he announced on social media that WWE was not renewing his contract, but then, after the intense fan backlash, TKO had a change of heart. In a stunning turn of events, R-Truth returned at the end of Money in the Bank to attack his childhood hero, John Cena. After the show, WWE Shop listed R-Truth by his real name of Ron Killings. R-Truth Cut Off His Hair And Became Ron Killings
R-Truth showed up out of nowhere on Raw, dressed in black and wearing a mask, just like he did at Money in the Bank. After standing on top of the commentary table, he ripped his mask off to the roar of the crowd. Truth spoke from the heart to the WWE Universe about how they brought him back. He told the fans that he was back for them, but he’s also back for himself. He added:
“Now, we all love R-Truth. I love R-Truth too. But R-Truth can be too funny all the time. R-Truth can be too nice, and he’s too forgiving. Not me. I wish you would. I feel different. I feel alive. And for any of you that thinks I’m a lie, you think I’m some side show, you think I’m a gimmick…”
Truth put down the mic and pulled out a pair of scissors. To the shock of everyone, he then cut off his hair. As the crowd chanted “Holy s**t,” Truth continued:
“The truth has set me free. I am Ron Killings! I am the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth! Now put some respect on my name!”

Ron Killings in R-Truth’s real name, and he has performed as himself before. In TNA, where he became the NWA World Champion, he went by Ron “The Truth” Killings and was not the silly guy we know today. A new Ron Killings has been born in WWE. Who knows what’s next, but it’s great to have him back.
