The iPhone got the most attention, but the Mac saw some serious updates too.
At long last, Apple has revealed everything we were waiting for in the iOS 26, macOS 26, iPadOS 26 releases. Itâs time to pick through what was tremendous â and what was not â on the AppleInsider Podcast.
Itâs the event weâve been waiting for, but the question is whether it was the event we were waiting for. There have been very mixed reactions to this yearâs WWDC, but some of those reactions seem peculiar if you actually watched the keynote.
Thereâs also detail from the event to pick over, including some surprising omissions by Apple. And also what weâve learned from a few days of using the new beta software.
Be warned, too: one thing weâve learned is why you shouldnât use beta software. One of your hosts has struggled more than the other with key apps not launching in macOS Tahoe, but also this very episode is an experiment in using the betas â it was recorded using the iPadâs new Local Capture feature.
