Jim Ross Reveals Where Things Stand with Ric Flair After Controversial Tweets

Ric Flair caused a lot of drama recently when he made some offensive tweets about Jim Ross, accusing him of being an attention seeker. Fans started to wonder if Ross and Flair had beef but now Jim Ross has made it clear he and Flair are on good terms.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross was asked if he had talked to Ric Flair since dealing with his own health problems. He said he hasn’t spoken to Ric recently, but he heard Ric is fighting skin cancer.

Jim Ross said he’s had skin cancer too, so he understands what Ric Flair is going through. He mentioned that Flair did call and leave him a message when Jim was first diagnosed, but they haven’t talked since then.

“I have not, actually. I heard he is battling skin cancer. I’ve had that, so I know what he’s going through. But I haven’t spoken to Ric. He called me early on when I was diagnosed—he called me and left me a message. But I haven’t spoken to him since that time.”

When asked if there was any bad blood between them, Ross dismissed the idea completely. He said there’s no truth to it and believes people are just looking for drama or gossip.

According to the WWE Hall of Famer, he has no negative or hidden agenda about the Nature Boy and made it clear that he still has love and respect for him. As far as he’s concerned, everything is fine between them.

“No, not at all. I don’t know where that came from. People just want to dig up stuff and gossip like that. I have no agenda, negative or positive, with Ric. He knows I love and respect Ric Flair. He and I are fine as far as I’m concerned.”

Good ol’ JR also said he really respects Ric Flair and everything he’s done in wrestling. He hopes Ric Flair gets better soon because wrestling still needs him. He noted that Flair is a big part of the sport’s history, and Ross hopes his cancer gets treated and under control.

“I have great respect for Ric and what he has accomplished, so no issues at all with him, Conrad. I just hope he gets healthy and feels good, because pro wrestling needs Ric Flair. He’s a big part of the fabric of our business, and I hope his skin cancer is addressed and controlled.”

Ric Flair was also called the “ultimate narcissist” for his remarks about Jim Ross. Regardless, it’s clear that things are good between Jim Ross and Flair despite the Nature Boy’s awful remarks and fans feel Ross is truly an amazing person for this reason.
