Karrion Kross Finally Gets A Match

After Months, Kross Is Getting Showcased

Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn backstage WWE RAW June 2025

  • Kross once again tormented Sami Zayn backstage.
  • Zayn finally lost his cool and hit Kross.
  • Their match was scheduled for Night of Champions.

Karrion Kross has been a thorn in the side of Sami Zayn ever since before WrestleMania 41, existing in his ear, bothering him backstage, and seemingly trying to do something nefarious that the fans are not yet privy to. Over the last few months, Kross’ personality and promos have gotten him over with the WWE fans, who have been desperate to see him spotlighted on WWE programming. He will finally get that chance at Night of Champions.

Kross once again got into Zayn’s head backstage, bringing up Zayn’s King of the Ring loss and him failing to once again score a world title in the process. Zayn had enough, hitting Kross and revealing that he’d secured them a match. Due to Dominik Mysterio getting injured and his match with AJ Styles being canceled, Zayn vs. Kross has snuck its way onto the PLE card in Saudi Arabia. It will be great to see Kross finally get a chance to show what he can do after building up plenty of momentum.

Bron Breakker Destroys Penta

Breakker Hit Another Wild Spear

  • Penta and Breakker clashed in a fun match on RAW.
  • Their unique styles worked well together.
  • Breakker added another great spear to his collection.

It never gets tiring seeing Bron Breakker use his insane mix of speed and power to move at 100mph and run straight through his opponents, and that was the case on Monday Night RAW once again. He took on Penta in a singles match that grew in quality as it went on, with the two men displaying their different styles to craft a good back and forth encounter.

Everything We Loved About AEW Grand Slam: Mexico

Dynamite’s special episode of AEW Grand Slam Mexico was a big success for both the company and its fans.

In the final moments, Penta looked to try and build up some momentum and propel himself from the middle rope, but Breakker met him mid-air with an insane spear, getting the crowd on their feet with a massive reaction to pull off the win. The match was enjoyable, but the spear is one that will get added to all Breakker’s compilations moving forwards.

King & Queen Of The Ring Finals Are Official

The Build Continued In These Two Tournaments

Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso WWE RAW

  • Jade Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez.
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Jey Uso was the match of the night.
  • WWE has booked two intriguing finals.

On RAW this week, the remaining semi-finals match for the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments were held. On the women’s side, Jade Cargill used her power and size advantage to defeat Roxanne Perez, setting up what will be a very unpredictable and intriguing encounter with Asuka, who is on a strong wave of momentum since returning. Potential matches such as Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton or Naomi, and Asuka vs. Iyo Sky are both possibilities for SummerSlam 2025.

On the men’s side, Cody Rhodes outlasted close friend Jey Uso in the best match of the night. It had a big fight feel, high stakes, and it was hard at times to call the winner. In the end, a focused Rhodes got the job done without any sort of shenanigans, defeating Uso. Rhodes will go on to finally face Randy Orton in a highly anticipated match at Night of Champions.

Things Are Heating Up In Their World Title Feud

  • Goldberg and Gunther have a couple of weeks to build their match.
  • Goldberg sat down with Michael Cole backstage in an interview.
  • Gunther cut a promo in the ring, and it was fantastic.

With Goldberg not live on WWE RAW this week, the build for his retirement match against Gunther continued with them each delivering separate speeches, but this worked well to build up animosity, intensity, and a desire to see them finally go at it. In a sit-down interview, Goldberg spoke about his family, about revenge for Gunther’s words at Bad Blood last year, and even dropped an “F-bomb” in a wonderful showcase of his seriousness ahead of this match. This added some much-needed aura to an aging Goldberg.

It’s Now Or Never For This WWE Dream Match

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin might have one more WWE match left in him. If so, there is only one possible opponent.

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther hit back with his own promo live in the arena, and he held nothing back as he bigged up himself as champion and put down Goldberg as someone who is way beyond his best. Gunther has only continued to improve as a talker over the last couple of years, and this scathing, arrogant, and impassioned promo was an example of just how good he can be. It was one of the best parts of RAW, with Gunther declaring that “the myth of Bill Goldberg dies” at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
