After her shocking return at the Royal Rumble following a two-year hiatus, Alexa Bliss continued to pursue a title match at WrestleMania by entering the Elimination Chamber. The five-time Women’s Champion ultimately failed to set up a match against Rhea Ripley and/or Iyo Sky at ‘The Show of Shows,’ which begs the question: what is next for Bliss?

Although these WWE wrestlers are fan favorites, they didn’t really shine at WrestleMania.
Alexa certainly does not lack options on SmackDown, as the women’s division has continued to improve on the blue brand. She may need to wait to challenge Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair in the main event scene, but there are a lot of potential avenues that WWE could send ‘The Goddess’ down for WrestleMania season.
Alexa Bliss Has Links To The Wyatt Sicks
The Five-Time Women’s Champion Should Avoid The Supernatural
- Alexa Bliss was once associated with the late Bray Wyatt during his ‘Fiend’ era.
- This has led to some speculation that Bliss could join the Wyatt Sicks stable.
- Alexa would be better off avoiding the spooky side of wrestling in her latest run.
The most obvious route for WWE to take given Bliss’ history would be to have her become involved with the Wyatt Sicks in some way. Alexa famously became involved with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, corrupting her personality to the point where she began talking to a doll called Lilly, among other creepy things.

Bray Wyatt was a cult leader who had a number of wrestlers align with him in WWE.
Fans generally felt mixed about the character change for Bliss, who had been a multiple-time World Champion before she chose to embrace the supernatural side of professional wrestling. However, Alexa has at least hinted at a return to the Wyatt world through her choice of attire and demeanor since she came back to WWE at the Royal Rumble.
Her links to the Wyatt Sicks go beyond the tributary nature of the group too, as her former tag team partner Nikki Cross is a part of the faction. It could be possible that WWE is thinking of reuniting the pair to challenge in the tag team division, although the Sister Abigail-inspired character that Cross is playing has not been involved in the women’s division as of late.
As much as fans want to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt and accept what the Bo Dallas-led group is trying to do, it may not be a great idea to have Alexa Bliss become tangled up in the spookiness once again. The work that Alexa did alongside Bray was quite comfortably the worst of her career, and would not make sense in the more realistic version of WWE that has been built by Triple H.
The Return Of The Goddess Version Of Alexa Bliss
Aexa Bliss Should Bring Back Her Best Character
- Alexa Bliss became a five-time Women’s Champion during the late 2010s.
- She portrayed a heel character throughout this time known as ‘The Goddess’.
- Bliss should return to playing a more grounded character during her latest WWE run.
With Alexa Bliss opting not to reveal too much about her character since returning, it does give her and WWE some scope to come up with something new for her. As previously mentioned, her aggressive in-ring style and dissociative demeanor could just be a hint that she is returning to the supernatural-adjacent character she used to play, but this would be a mistake.

Every Look Of Alexa Bliss’ Wrestling Career, Ranked Worst To Best
Alexa Bliss has had many different looks throughout her WWE career, but which one stands out as the best?
Alexa has proven to be a much more effective performer when she has been able to be a more realistic, horribly mean heel that took her to the very top in the first place. ‘The Goddess’ was a great character at a time when WWE did not necessarily choose to promote a huge number of female stars, which allowed Bliss to stand out.
It would be interesting to see how the Alexa Bliss of old would fit into the WWE of today, as she should be considered one of the division’s biggest stars given her history. Within the more grounded version of the company under Triple H, it would be great to have ‘The Goddess’ back among the other big stars of today.
What Is Next For Alexa Bliss?
WWE Must Give Alexa Bliss Something Substantial At WrestleMania 41
- Alexa Bliss will probably have to address the Wyatt Sicks at some point, but hopefully not for long.
- She could feud with former rival Nia Jax now that her business with Tiffany Stratton has concluded.
- Bliss would make a good challenger to Chelsea Green’s United States title at WrestleMania.
If Alexa Bliss does stay on SmackDown for the foreseeable future, there are plenty of opportunities for her to develop storylines with the other members of the roster. Bliss should first and foremost address Nikki Cross as a sign that she will not be joining the group, and to get any of the lingering tension she may have out of the way.

8 Things About Alexa Bliss’ WWE Career That Make No Sense
There have been several moments in Alexa Bliss’ WWE career that led to fans scratching their heads.
Once that is sorted, Alexa could either go for another title or have a more personal feud against a former rival in Nia Jax, who does not seem to have any more business with Tiffany Stratton ahead of WrestleMania. Bliss and Nia had a terrible feud several years ago in the old version of WWE, but it would be interesting to see how they are booked opposite each other in a more competent version of the company. Nia Jax has been a big part of the women’s division over the past year, so a spot at WrestleMania against Alexa Bliss would be fully earned.
There is also the Women’s United States Championship to consider, as Chelsea Green and Michin continue to fight over the belt, having done so since its inception. Alexa Bliss could be a breath of fresh air within the US title picture that would finally give Green a new challenger. It would also be a way to legitimize the title getting a WrestleMania spot, as currently, the women’s midcard belts are still struggling to find relevancy within WWE.
