Seth Rollins is very open about people in the industry that he genuinely respects and also doesn’t like at all. It’s a known fact that Seth Rollins has a lot of beef with Hulk Hogan, and now it appears he once again dissed The Hulkster, continuing their ongoing beef.
Ringside News obtained footage from a recent signing session for TOPPs trading cards, where Seth Rollins reacted to seeing a Hall of Fame card. The Visionary admitted that initially he was excited, but when he realized it was Hulk Hogan, his enthusiasm went down. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion expressed his disappointment, making it clear he wasn’t as happy about the card as he could have been.
“Wait. Oh, god. I saw a Hall Of Fame Card and I got excited then I saw it was Hulk Hogan and I got a little less excited, you know what I mean?”
This comes after Seth Rollins’ comments about Hulk Hogan being booed by fans on the January 6th episode of RAW. Rollins mentioned that when a large crowd reacts negatively to someone, there is usually a reason behind it. While he wasn’t sure if Hogan fully grasped the situation, he believed that people eventually get what they deserve, as he made it very clear Hogan deserved the booing.
“I am all for people getting what they deserve, and that’s exactly how I feel about Hulk Hogan getting booed. If you’re getting booed by the masses, there’s a reason for that. I don’t know if Hulk fully understands the scope of it, but people get what they deserve, so I’m happy to see it.
I’ve said this before about the Hulkster—he’s the guy that got me into the industry in terms of my love for professional wrestling, so I’ll never take that away from him. What he’s done for our business is undeniable, and I’ll never discredit that. But I do think there’s some responsibility he needs to own up to that he hasn’t yet. Maybe when he finally figures that out, he can move forward with the fans. Let’s see.”
Seth Rollins’ disdain for the WWE Hall of Famer is linked to his 2015 racist remarks scandal and lack of accountability since Hogan still hasn’t apologized for those remarks at all. After all, many fans likely agree with what Seth Rollins had to say as well.
With Rollins continuing to take shots at Hogan and Hogan remaining silent on the matter, it seems likely that the long-standing beef between the two isn’t going away anytime soon, and fans have just accepted that fact now.
