Between Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, there have been numerous wrestlers who have been absolutely killing it in the ring and choosing ten to represent the entire company was quite a challenge.

Many of these talents found championship gold this year, but let’s focus mostly on the in-ring work they’ve shown. With only a couple of months knocked down this year, let’s get an early look and break down what wrestlers can be called the absolute best in the WWE in 2025.

His WWE Career Has Kicked Off Great

Since parting ways with All Elite Wrestling and making his WWE debut earlier this year, Penta has been treated as a massive deal and has consistently wrestled on Raw and Main Event. He has yet to earn a championship match or any major story, but his matches against the likes of Chad Gable, Ludwig Kaiser, and Pete Dunne prove that Penta will thrive whenever those chances start coming up.

With the news coming out that his brother Rey Fenix has finished up with AEW as well, and might be making his way to the main roster alongside his brother, the concept of the Lucha Bros taking over the Raw tag team division could be a sight to see.

The TNA Legends Quickly Became A Success

Speaking of major tag teams from outside the WWE, the debuts of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were quite unexpected last year and seeing them quickly become WWE Tag Team Champions mere weeks after debuting was incredible. They dropped the titles but still remain around the scene, recently having a stellar Two Out of Three Falls match against #DIY at the Royal Rumble.

These two have proven for decades that they are some of the greatest wrestlers going, and it wouldn’t be insane to think that they will continue that trend in 2025.

Seth Rollins

Continues To Be A Top Wrestler

Seth Rollins has easily been one of the best in-ring wrestlers for the WWE ever since he joined the promotion. Despite taking some major losses this year, like the Elimination Chamber match or against Punk on the Netflix Raw debut, those matches were amazing and a large part of that was due to Rollins’ work.

No one can be too sure what accolades he might achieve this year, but it is for sure that whatever he does, he is going to have some pretty great matches coming from it.

Rhea Ripley

Does Great Work, But Needs To Wrestle More

Rhea Ripley had a relatively short second reign as the Women’s World Champion, and during that time she didn’t get the chance to wrestle on television or PLE much. The few times she did, though, she proved that WWE needs to put this woman in the ring more often.

A Future World Champion Guaranteed

Seriously, ever since WWE fans first got their eyes on Jacob Fatu, it has been apparent that this guy would amount to something. His work with Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline has been incredible and the matches he put on with the likes of Andrade, Braun Strowman, and more have proven that he can go between the ropes.

Jacob needs to do something at WrestleMania because not having him on the card would be a massive mistake. Fans are dying to see him break away from Solo and eventually start working with top stars like Roman Reigns.

Giulia

The Beautiful Madness Captured NXT Gold

NXT had a wave of amazing women talent come into the brand and immediately make strides. Giulia took little to no time to become an Iron Survivor winner and earned herself multiple title matches for the NXT Women’s Championship. She would start the year off by finally beating Roxanne Perez and becoming the new champion.

In 2025, she had a strong performance in the Royal Rumble and a title defense against Cora Jade, Roxanne, and Bayley at Vengeance Day. Her upcoming match against Stephanie Vaquer could place her higher depending on how that goes.

Kevin Owens

His Heel Work Has Been Some Of The Best On Television

It is rare that Kevin Owens doesn’t provide some entertaining content whether he is face or heel, and this heel run has been nothing short of incredible. Ranging from just his segments on television to his ridiculous matches against the likes of Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes.

He has been putting on matches that just see him absolutely destroy himself and his opponent, and it might be interesting to see what the possible and rumored match between him and Randy Orton could look like at WrestleMania.

Iyo Sky

Heading To WrestleMania As A Champion Again

Bringing Iyo Sky into the title picture for WrestleMania is one of the best decisions the WWE could have made, because having her miss the event or have a nothing match somewhere down the card would be such a downgrade from last year for one of the best wrestlers on the roster full stop. Whatever is to come from her reign as Women’s World Champion is yet to be seen, but her match at WrestleMania could be one of the better ones on the card.

Although these WWE wrestlers are fan favorites, they didn’t really shine at WrestleMania.

Deserves To Be On The Main Roster Already

With the news that came out that Stephanie Vaquer got to decide if she wanted to go straight to the main roster or do some work in NXT, it has become apparent why she was pushed so strongly. That isn’t a bad thing, as she has proved that she is deserving of such a spotlight and when she does go to the main roster, she will quickly become a fixture of whatever brand’s roster.

With her double title match against Giulia coming up here soon, many believe this is the WWE’s way of writing her out of NXT and getting her on Raw or SmackDown sooner rather than later.

The Best Tag Team In WWE Right Now

Anyone who has watched anything this team has done on NXT will understand that this pick is far from shocking. Bigger names like Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and more have had some amazing performances this year, but haven’t had the body of work that Nathan Frazer and Axiom have.

Fraxiom have been able to pull out five-star classics against a selection of tag teams that many fans didn’t know could work at that level, but that proves how great of a duo Frazer and Axiom are in the ring. These two need to stay together forever, or at least a long time, as they could be one of the stronger teams on whatever brand they work for.
