To say The Undertaker and CM Punk had great chemistry might be hard to swallow for some fans given that they only ever had one classic match together, but their entire rivalry heading into WrestleMania 29, on top of their show-stealing match, earns them a place on the list.

Their other feud in 2009 was underwhelming with poor matches, but this comes down to the booking rather than a lack of chemistry.

Undertaker & Bret Hart Had Some Great Matchups

Bret Hart and The Undertaker didn’t cross paths all too often in WWE, but when they clashed in the years of 1996 and 1997, they developed a very special and quick chemistry with one another.

Their matches at SummerSlam and One Night Only in the UK in particular were thrilling contests, and it is easy to imagine them having even more classics had Hart not left WWE in 1997.

Randy Orton

Undertaker Helped Make Orton A Star

The Undertaker and a young Randy Orton developed fantastic chemistry with one another in a rivalry that helped to make Orton a star in WWE. Orton’s heel work matched perfectly with the newly turned Deadman persona of The Undertaker, playing off each other wonderfully.

This translated to several strong matches in the ring too. For instance, their matches at WrestleMania 21, SummerSlam 2005, and Armageddon 2005 all played a part in their great feud during that year. In a big surprise, WWE didn’t have them wrestle all too much after that, robbing fans of two men who had strong chemistry.

In 2007 in particular, Undertaker and Batista stole the show on numerous occasions, including a great battle at WrestleMania 23.

In Different Eras, Lesnar & Undertaker Had Great Chemistry

Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker took chunks out of each other in some brutal matches between two monsters in the early 2000s, showing a strong chemistry with one another.

Their WrestleMania 30 streak-ending match wasn’t great, but this could be put down to a concussion. The following year, despite The Undertaker being much older and way past his prime, they showed their chemistry once again with two electric matches at SummerSlam and Hell In A Cell.

Their Feuds Weren’t Always Great, But Their Matches Were Electric

Kurt Angle and The Undertaker never had a full blown long-term feud, which is a massive shame because they had special chemistry with one another, showcasing as such within different eras of WWE.

The most obvious example of their fantastic chemistry was when they had two classics over the World Heavyweight Championship in 2006. Fans wished they shared the ring more often together because they worked together like a dream.

Mankind & Undertaker Created History Together

These two darker and more deranged characters were perfect dance partners in the 1990s, and their matches brought out the most violent sides of one another. The Undertaker and Mankind would of course create history in their Hell In A Cell match at King Of The Ring 1998, but that wasn’t the only great match they had.

The pair were a part of other strong matches such as a Buried Alive bout and a Boiler Room Brawl, proving their chemistry in a variety of different gimmick bouts.
