Lorde brings Ultrasound concert tour to Berkeley, Los Angeles

OK, here’s one that we’ve most certainly been waiting for:

Lorde, the amazing alt-pop icon who stands as one of the most compelling live performers in the music industry, has announced her Ultrasound tour.

And, thankfully, the trek includes a stop in the Bay Area.

Lorde performs Oct. 19 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. Lorde also has an Oct. 18 date at the Kia Forum in the Los Angeles area.

Lorde tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 16, https://www.lorde.co.nz/tour. Fans can also sign up for a pre-sale at that site.

The trek supports Lorde’s forthcoming new album, “Virgin,” which is due out June 27.

Support acts for this tour include Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Empress Of and Jim-E Stack.
