Jordynne Grace parted ways with TNA Wrestling after losing to Tessa Blanchard at TNA Genesis. While she is part of the NXT family now, it appears she has indicated that seeing the same NXT audience every week is killing her energy.
While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Jordynne Grace talked about the differences between WWE and TNA. She noted that in NXT, she spends a lot of time at the Performance Center, while in TNA, the focus was more on constant travel, saying, “Another thing with NXT is we’re at the Performance Center a lot, whereas in TNA, we were always traveling. That was a big difference.”
When asked if she prefers performing in front of the WWE Performance Center or if she likes wrestling in front of different crowds, Grace made it clear she doesn’t prefer performing at the Performance Center and would much rather be traveling, not only for the different crowds but because she loves exploring new places, gyms, and experiences.
Grace stated that the Performance Center audience is familiar to her, and when she travels to new cities like Sheboygan, Bangor, Duluth, or Birmingham, the reactions are more exciting because those fans don’t see her every week.
At the Performance Center many of the fans see her regularly, so while her entrance still gets a pop, she admits it just doesn’t hit the same as when she first started, since they’re used to seeing her each week.
“I don’t prefer it. I would, I would much rather be traveling, um, not just because of the audience, just because I love to travel. I love going to new gyms and trying new things. So yeah, there’s a difference. The PC audience is very familiar.
It’s not like seeing someone for the first time. You go to Sheboygan, Bangor, Duluth, Birmingham — it’s like, ‘Wow, Jordynne’s here.’ That’s what I mean. When you go to other places, you get a different reaction because those fans don’t see you.”
These people see you every week. So it’s like, ‘Yay, Jordynne’s here,’ but the pop fades. When I first came here, it was an explosion. Now I come out and still get a reaction, but it’s more like, ‘Oh, she’s here again.’“
This comes after Jordynne Grace made it clear that the possibility of going to the main roster is on her mind, but she is content with NXT for the time being. Therefore, we’ll have to see when she will get called up to the main roster, since there she will be traveling to different places every week.
